assystNET is aimed at Contact Users, enabling them to interact effectively with their IT Service Desk for the purpose of resolving problems or raising service requests.

Unlike in assyst, where the Event logging and management is carried out exclusively by assyst Users, assystNET acts as a portal where these end Contact Users can access assyst directly. This allows them to initiate Events, to use the Knowledge Base to troubleshoot their own Events.
