assystConnect is a licensed Java-based application which enables assyst Enterprise Web Edition to be integrated into an enterprise architecture.

In order to de-couple assyst from the enterprise architecture, assystConnect provides an asynchronous interface based on XML requests and responses.

Different connectors allow assystConnect to be integrated with different transport mechanisms, e.g. JMS, file system, email etc. A typical application might be to integrate assyst with an enterprise messaging system to allow automatic synchronization of infrastructure objects such as assets or users, or to automatically log incidents raised by event monitoring software.

The current release of assystConnect supports the creation, reading, updating and lookup of data for the following records:

  • Events
  • Actions
  • Contact Users
  • Items
  • Item Movements
  • Item Configurations
