The assyst Web Client provides an item configuration and business infrastructure administrative layer to the event logging features otherwise available in assystNET.
The Item configuration options contain detailed data input options that allow you to perform detailed management of your Configuration Items. In addition to this there is an additional assystDiscovery option which allows you to use a discovery tool to update your asset inventory.
In addition to this the assyst Web Client allows you to access additional management applets for:
In the assyst Web Client a number of administrative tasks can be performed. These are located under the options on the Administration and Configuration menus. These include:
- Grouping Contact Users to provide administrative units on the Contact User Query Profile Form.
- assyst Users can also be grouped as administrative users using the Privilege Group Form.
- Managing information messages to assystNET and assyst Web Client users can be done usingthe Message Center.
- Transmitting the knowledge base for assystNET and assyst Web Client users can be performed using the Knowledge Base, as can the online Help for to assystNET users.
- Managing Contact User access to assystNET License Options in the License Role Form.
