A wiki essentially is a form of an encyclopedia that is a holistic knowledge reference that can be updated electronically. Within this world of the wiki, there are two common forms, the public wiki's like Wikipedia where anyone can edit and create entries, and private wiki's where the wiki is restricted to being edited by a few.

By these definitions the assystWiki is a private wiki that seeks to provide a knowledge reference for assyst.

As a private wiki the assystWiki is set so that only the team at Axios can change the text of pages.

Role of the assystWiki

The assystWiki is set-up to place the various elements of the assyst supporting documentation in one place. There is the core on-line Help/Manual information, the extended "How-To" and theory information, the Installation and Configuration Guides, Release Notes and the further reference information. The Majority of this information is linked from within the assyst Web Client, or it available easily from within the Online Help Category.
